The Kingdom of God should be a reflection of the great array of creation. You'll hopefully find a little of that here if you visit the First Presbyterian Church. We are a diverse group; diverse not only in terms of race or ethnicity, but in class, ability, age, education, gender expression, sexuality and theology. We seek to live and worship and work together because we believe in God's love and justice. With programs ranging from a drop-in day center for the homeless to cleaning up the Charles River, repairing homes for the elderly to marching in the Boston Pride Parade, the First Presbyterian Church of Waltham is centered on Christ and seeks to offer hospitality to all.
Come visit. All are welcome here in the name and love of Jesus Christ. You may not see someone who looks like you, but you will meet someone who cares about you and your journey and who is willing to walk alongside you as we celebrate the mystery of our God's love for us. And you'll most certainly find a place that engages you in the challenging yet wonderful work of building God's kingdom.
