As a church that seeks to reflect the Kingdom of God, we want to be a representation of the great array of creation. You'll hopefully find a little of that here if you visit the First Presbyterian Church. We are a diverse group; diverse not only in terms of race or ethnicity, but in class, ability, age, education, gender expression, sexuality and theology. We seek to live and worship and work together because we believe in God's love and justice for all. With programs ranging from a drop-in day center for the homeless to cleaning up the Charles River, repairing homes for the elderly to marching in the Boston Pride Parade, the First Presbyterian Church of Waltham is centered on Christ and seeks to offer hospitality to all.
Come visit. All are welcome here in the name and love of Jesus Christ. We gather to celebrate the mystery of our God's love for us and engage in the challenging yet wonderful work of building God's kingdom.
